Antique 1910s Weller Matte Green Art Nouveau Vase
Circa 1914-1915. Derby Line Matte Green (sometimes seen referred to as Matt Green) glaze. Art Nouveau almost Celtic knot style design. The pattern and shape is shown in the Huxford Collectors Encyclopedia of Weller Pottery on page 125.
There is a faint, illegible pencil marking on the base, similar to others found in our online research. No chips. A single hairline crack along the rim is shown, as well as come uniform crazing and small surface scuff marks. Please view all photos.
