Description

1930s KeyKord Tenor Guitar w/ Hardshell Case & Manual

Very nice shape, rare little instrument, with (apparently) even more rare hardshell case. Case is missing original handle, but some enterprising former owner years ago replaced it with a bit of rope that seems to have help up quite well.

We've seen this piece described as both a tenor guitar or a baritone ukulele. Research indicates that the instrument itself was made by Kay in Chicago, but the KeyKord push-button mechanism was created here in Cleveland, Ohio. 1929 manual also included, in nice shape, with slight loosening at staples.

Very good condition, plays well. Was restrung and tuned by our resident music expert. Video included of it being played.

Some minor surface scuffs and scratches, all pictured.
