Century Furniture Custom Oversized Tufted Velvet Sofa

Unique twist on a classic Chesterfield style, fully custom sofa from Century Furniture in Hickory, NC. Original owner paid over $16,000 for this piece! (Starting bid is set at $100 to ensure serious bidding only, as item will be moved at our expense from storage locker to our warehouse for pickup. There is no additional reserve.)

Pictures of the sofa alone are deceptive, as every dimension is exaggerated. (Auction Manager, Phoebe, for scale.) It is MASSIVE! Will not fit through a standard 36" doorway. Would need a double-door entryway or wide sliding door. 

The plush burnt orange velvet/velour upholstery has worn and dirty spots from being in storage, and from actually being used for several years. We did our best to include pictures of every imperfect spot, no matter how small. Most are on the back/edges. There is a small tear along the underside of the seam on the seat cushion, also pictured. Hardwood legs are all scuffed. One is missing the leveling foot and one has been reattached with screws - pictured.

PLEASE READ: Buyer will need a full-size van or small box truck and assistance to move and load this item. It is nearly 9 feet long and will not fit in an SUV or minivan. There is a loading dock at our warehouse.
