Floral embossed leather surrounds this antique Victorian era Ambrotype capturing the image of a late 1850’s couple. The wood frame case is intact but does not sit perfectly flush, the hook clasp is present, the gilt washed leaf embossed metal frame has speckled oxidation and has burnished over the years with hand tinted blush accents to the image, fade to the interior silk lining, measuring 3 3/4” x 3 1/4” x 5/8” ...from the Ladow family estate, early Chagrin Falls Ohio residents.
